Skincare includes products for cleansing, moisturising, sun protection, exfoliation and targeted cosmetic concerns. The category may contain face washes, micellar waters, toners, serums, creams, masks, eye products, exfoliants and sunscreen for dry, oily, combination, sensitive or blemish-prone skin. A useful routine does not need many steps: begin with gentle cleansing, add a moisturiser suitable for the skin type and use broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day. Targeted products can then be added for a specific concern, one at a time. Product order matters, and stronger or more expensive formulas are not automatically more suitable.
