Hair Spray

Hair sprays include styling products for hold, volume, texture, shine and finishing, as well as care mists and sprays labelled for heat protection or easier detangling. Choose flexible-hold sprays for natural movement, stronger formulas for longer-lasting styles and lightweight mists for fine hair. Hold the container at the distance stated on the label and use the minimum amount needed to achieve the desired finish. Confirm that a spray specifically states heat protection before relying on it with heated styling tools. Frequent or heavy use may leave buildup or make dry hair feel stiffer, while fragranced or alcohol-rich formulas can irritate some scalps. Wash out accumulated styling products regularly and stop using any spray that causes persistent irritation.
