Repair Lip Balm

Repair lip balms provide a protective layer over dry, rough or cracked-looking lips. They may contain petroleum jelly, beeswax, plant waxes, oils, lanolin, ceramides or other emollient ingredients and are available as sticks, tubes, pots and intensive overnight formulas. Apply with clean hands and reapply when the lips feel dry, particularly in windy, cold or air-conditioned environments. Fragrance, flavour and colour can irritate some users, so a simple fragrance-free balm may suit sensitive lips. Avoid licking, biting or picking flaky skin, and seek medical advice if the lips become hot, painful, persistently swollen or infected-looking.
