Skin Repair

Skin repair products are rich moisturisers, balms, ointments and barrier-supporting formulas intended for dry, rough, tight or irritated-feeling skin. Common ingredients include glycerin, petrolatum, dimethicone, ceramides and nourishing oils that help reduce moisture loss and improve softness and comfort. Apply repair creams or balms after gentle cleansing, ideally while the skin is still slightly damp. Thick ointments can suit very dry targeted areas, while lighter creams may be easier for daily facial or body use. Cosmetic repair products should not be applied to infected, deeply broken or weeping skin unless specifically intended for wound care.
