Nasal Decongestant Spray

Nasal decongestant sprays deliver a measured mist into the nose for temporary relief of nasal congestion associated with conditions such as colds, allergies or sinus symptoms. Products can contain different active medicines and concentrations, and they should not be confused with saline sprays or steroid allergy sprays. Use only the labelled number of sprays and avoid combining several congestion medicines unless a pharmacist confirms that this is appropriate. Medicinal decongestant sprays are intended for short-term use; using them beyond the recommended period can cause rebound congestion and leave the nose feeling more blocked.
